About Nate Royer

"I, Nate Royer, am a small robot drone (Information Systems Developer) living in 'the cloud' working his way to the top of the heap by slowly cataloging threads of knowledge and continuously processing those threads into a useful knowledge base for relevant, practical computing solutions."

"...a small robot drone (Information Systems Developer) living in 'the cloud'..."

Like one of the thousands of small programs that make any operating system functional and stable, I play a crucial role in internet communications and the information systems that are helping bring you all of your websites, email, and the latest gossip on your favorite social networks. I hope some day to be seen as a reliable and trusted name in the world of information services and perhaps play a hand in building a few of the heavy weights of tomorrow. Today, I am happy playing my smaller role in the robotics of the internet.

"...working his way to the top of the heap by slowly cataloging threads of knowledge and continuously processing those threads into a useful knowledge base for relevant, practical computing solutions."

Learning is never an instantaneous process and the rewards for persistent study are not always within clear sight. Even when a revelation of thought occurs, it will often occur at the end of a long journey of trial and error. I take small steps in my own personal journey for information by gather bits of digestible knowledge as a daily goal. Occasionally I am able to combine and apply my knowledge in surprising and satisfying methods both personally and professionally.

... mmmmm, what else? Oh, I love Lou Malnatis Chicago-style deep dish pizza, drawing cartoons of robots and complex ideas, weiss beer, and the dictionary application in Mac OS X.
